Earning is ALOT Easier Than You Think.. (In-Depth Tutorial)
In my last video, I showed you guys how to increase your PR when playing tournaments like the Dual Cash Cup and FNCS. Today's video seamlessly builds on that topic, focusing on what I would do if I had to make my first earnings again. As you may have heard, I have secured multiple earnings in the Solo Victory Cash Cups, proving that now is a better time than ever to make your first earnings due to the numerous Victory Cash Cups hosted by Epic.
I will be sharing various tips for every tournament, aiming to help you achieve your first earnings this summer. If you find this video helpful, please drop a like and subscribe, as I am trying to hit 2,000 subscribers by the end of the summer. Without further ado, let's dive right into today's video.
Best Tournaments to Play Right Now
The easiest tournament to qualify for the finals is undoubtedly the Solo Victory Cash Cup, both builds and no-builds. On the EU region, the top 7,000 players make it through to the finals, which is a significant number.
Recently, Epic removed the region lock, allowing you to qualify for finals in other regions. This is particularly important for no-build cups, which are less ping-sensitive and largely focus on aim. Fortnite's player base is lower than ever, meaning fewer players are queuing up for each tournament, effectively increasing your chances of qualifying.
With more players qualifying, the average skill level in the finals lobby is lower, giving you a better shot at winning if you are a solid player. Both the build and no-build Solo Victory Cash Cup finals are worth a try.
Strategies for Each Tournament
Build Solo Victory Cup: Epic's biggest tournament at the moment, the build solo victory cup, can be played using two main strategies: passive and aggressive.
Passive Play Style:
- In this play style, you can potentially win a game with zero kills due to the heal-off meta.
- Aim to carry six medkits, the maximum you can use.
- Stay calm and don't panic during end games.
- Conserve your materials (mats) effectively, as getting kills for refreshes won't be your focus.
Aggressive Play Style:
- Avoid mid-game fights unless you have a significant advantage (like a Nitro Medallion).
- In end-game, box up and farm mats, placing yourself near resources for refarming.
- Carry both a spray weapon and a shotgun to pressure opponents and gain refreshes.
- Look for refreshes when you have around 30 builds left rather than waiting until you are nearly out of materials.
- In the final zone, switch out your spray weapon for medkits to prepare for a potential heal-off.
