The simplicity of this model makes it a highly attractive option for those who already have a significant following on TikTok.
Dropshipping on TikTok
On the other hand, dropshipping on TikTok Shop has its own set of advantages. Unlike the affiliate model, you don't need any followers to begin. You can start promoting your own products listed at a higher price on your TikTok Shop. This model allows for greater control and leverage, as you can also collaborate with other affiliate creators to promote your products.
The downside is that dropshipping involves more manual work, including order fulfillment and customer service. Nonetheless, it offers potentially higher earnings compared to being an affiliate.
