Day in the Life of Freight Operations Officer!

Welcome to a day in the life of a freight operations officer. Hi, I'm Sheikh Naseeruddin, a senior officer managing flight operations at GWC. A typical day for me begins with assessing the inbound flights expected for the day via air and sea.

Every freight shipment passes through a standardized customs clearance process in compliance with Qatar Customs. As a reputed 3PL (third-party logistics) service provider in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region, GWC is recognized as the best customs brokerage company by the General Authority of Customs, Qatar. This recognition helps make the customs clearance process more seamless for all our stakeholders.

Once cleared by Customs, I oversee the coordination and loading of inbound freight onto trucks for delivery as per client requirements. Real-time tracking of cargo from source to port and timely delivery to the end destination are the two key aspects of my role.

That's a wrap on my day. Visit our website for more information about international freight management.
