Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) App for Shopify Demo

Introduction

Introduction

Hello everybody, today I'm going to walk you through how to set up the Amazon MCF (Multi-Channel Fulfillment) app for Shopify Stores.

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

1. Adding and Installing the App

To get started, click Add App on our app landing page. Then, go ahead and install the app and open it up. You'll be prompted to log into your Amazon Seller Central account. Note that the app currently only supports US Marketplace accounts only. Ensure you choose the United States if you sell on multiple marketplaces.

2. Connecting Your Amazon Account

Once you are on the welcome page, follow the four easy steps to set up the app. The first step is to connect to your Amazon account. Since you're already signed in, this will be quite straightforward. You will receive a success message indicating that you are connected.

3. Mapping Your SKUs

Next, you need to map your SKUs. By going to the SKU mapping page, you should see all your Shopify SKUs. Tell Amazon via the app which Amazon product to ship when an order comes in for a Shopify product. Often, your Shopify SKU and Amazon SKU will match. If they do, this will auto-map within the app. Should they not match, use the pencil icon to edit and enter the corresponding Amazon SKU and save it by clicking the green checkmark.

If you have a large catalog, the page may take a minute to load. Use the refresh button to ensure all your SKUs are loaded. The filter options can make it easier to see which SKUs are mapped and which are not.

4. Managing Shipping Settings

Go back to the welcome tab and manage your shipping settings in the shipping options section. On this page, tell Amazon how quickly to ship your products based on the speed name received from the Shopify order.

You might need to customize this if your shipping option names differ from the defaults like standard, expedited, and priority. You can check your rate names in Shopify's shipping settings by going to Shopify settings > Shipping and delivery. Ensure your rate names match those listed in the mcf app.

You can map your shipping options to Amazon's standard, expedited, and priority options as needed. Ensure Amazon MCF shows up as a shipping origin, and add it if it is missing.

5. Assigning Products to Amazon MCF

Finally, assign the products to Amazon MCF in Shopify. Click the provided link to open the Shopify bulk editor. Adjust the stock location to Amazon MCF for your products either individually or en masse. Add additional columns to see other product details if necessary.

Automating Order Fulfillment

For a seamless experience, consider turning on order automation. Go to Shopify settings > Checkout and select automatically fulfill the orders line items. This enables orders to automatically request fulfillment from Amazon MCF. If you prefer manual review, leave this off.

Multi-Location Support (New)

For users utilizing Shopify's multi-location functionality, we now support it. Navigate to the settings page in the mcf app, switch to the multiple location settings tab, and enable multiple locations. This allows you to track inventory across different locations. Order fulfillment will follow the priority set in your Shopify location settings. Adjust the priority as needed, ensuring your most preferred location is Amazon MCF.

Conclusion

Following the steps above will set up your Shopify Store with the Amazon MCF app, allowing automatic fulfillment from Amazon warehouses and efficient inventory management. For further questions, visit our official guide at supply chain dot amazon dot com for additional FAQs.
