Introduction
In this article, we dive into a thrilling journey of turning a modest $ 100 investment into a staggering $ 10,000 through dropshipping powered by TikTok ads. I will document every step, from identifying a winning product and creating our store to launching effective TikTok ads.
Step 1: Finding a Winning Product
To get started, we need to find a product that has the potential for good sales. For this, we are using the Mina platform, which offers a free trial, enabling us to utilize our limited budget smartly. I navigate through products that are currently gaining traction on TikTok and stumble upon a unique product: the Custom Pet Stamper.
At first glance, the Custom Pet Stamper has only 7,000 views, indicating it's relatively new, which presents an excellent opportunity. A quick search on TikTok reveals numerous videos, including one with nearly 2 million views, showcasing its popularity.
Product Price Calculation
The product will cost $ 6.89 per unit through CJ Drop Shipping. After accounting for shipping and taxes, the total cost per stamper is $ 11.56. This product can be sold for around $ 30, which leaves ample room for profit.
Step 2: Setting Up Our Shopify Store
Next, we create our Shopify store. To start, we sign up for a trial plan priced at $ 1 for the first month, bringing our budget down to $ 99. After that, we add our first product, the Custom Pet Stamper, using a free dropshipping app from CJ, which doesn't affect our budget.
Then, we enhance our store's appearance by installing a pre-built theme from the Ecom Mafia Discord. Following this, I customize the product page, improving the visuals and the content with the aid of ChatGPT. A logo and branded domain named shopris.com are created, further enhancing our store’s professionalism.
Step 3: Launching TikTok Ads
With our store ready, it’s time to launch our ads! We create campaigns in the TikTok Ads Manager, initially launching three products, each with a $ 20 ad spend. This includes the Custom Pet Stamper, a Dumbbell Bracelet, and a Jelly Friend LED Fish Lamp.
Day 1 Results
After 24 hours, we see success! We manage to make $ 83 in sales, predominantly driven by the Custom Pet Stamper. This brings our new budget to $ 738. With this, we scale our efforts further by duplicating successful ad groups for day two.
Day 2 Results
At the end of day two, the results are even better—six orders and a total revenue of $ 179! With continual ad spending, we resolved to duplicate our ad groups again, maintaining our momentum.
Throughout this process, I also promote the Ecom Mafia Discord community, which offers a wealth of resources and training, further supporting our dropshipping ambitions.
